Teamwork and leadership are of critical importance in any field, and engineering is no exception.

Background

I took on my first leadership position in 2022, and it has since become a key element of my identity and how I hope to have a positive impact.

Composites & Landing Gear at Georgia Tech DBF Micro (2025-Present)

Most of DBF’s work on landing gear is still sensitive to the 2026 competition season. More details will be added once they are deemed non-sensitive.

Member of Georgia Tech Global Leadership Living Community & Culture/Festivities Student Action Team (2025-Present)

Created and pitched NIH-style grand proposal on low-cost novel tool to test for fentanyl in a team of 4. With the student action team, we planned and hosted community-building events for Hispanic Heritage Month, Halloween, winter and others.

Student Mayor of Budapest III. District (2023-2025)

As Student Mayor of the district, I collaborated with peers and NGOs to organize events including a district-wide food drive, toy drive, youth sports tournament, and youth concert. I also helped manage student mayorship funds to maximize the impacts of our funding

President of Milestone Institute Engineering Society (2023-2025)

In this position I hosted weekly sessions, recruitment events, in-house competitions, social events, and tripled student membership. I placed an emphasis on teaching members skills including CAD, electronics, and programing. Our projects included building mini BattleBots, drones, 3D-printed bridges, and a wall-mounted marble machine for the student life lounge.
